Welcome to our blog page about angles. I found a few angles in my back yard that go right along with what we are studying. Below are pictures of the three different types of angles: acute, obtuse, and right. It is important that you know the difference between these.
Activity:
See if you can match the correct angle definition with each. Also, can you notice any angles in your back yard that are either acute, obtuse, or right? Please reply to this blog with the typed answers to these questions. You are welcome to post pictures of any angles that you find, but this is not required!

Definitions:
A) Angle less than 90 degrees
B) Angle equal to 90 degrees
C) Angle greater than 90 degrees
I hope that you have a greater understanding of why it is important to study angles. If you have not already, take notice that angles are everywhere in the real world! In fact, there are millions of examples of angles surrounding us at all times. I hope you enjoyed engaging in this activity and really took the time to explore and identify the many angles around you.
